| About Beyond Birthday Beyond Birthday is a character from the Death Note novel “Another Note: The LABB Murder Cases” by Nisioisin, which takes place before the appearance of Kira in the Death Note timeline. In this novel, the detective L uses the services of suspended FBI agent Naomi Misora to help him investigate a series of killings in Los Angeles committed by Beyond Birthday: a specter from L’s past out to create the perfect crime that L himself cannot solve. Go to "Gallery" and click on the button "Contribute to this folder," then choose your deviation from there. Your deviation will be subject to approval based on the following rules. Submission Rules: -All artwork and fanfiction must feature Beyond Birthday in some way. You are welcome to add any other Death Note characters, original characters, or even characters from other series and genres. -We will consider artwork that does not contain Beyond Birthday if it is specifically related to events and scenes in “Another Note,” such as Mello writing the story, Naomi showing L capoeira, etc. These will be accepted at the discretion of the mods. -All submissions must conform to deviantArt policy and we won't accept any work that we deem does not follow these rules. This especially applies to the following: FAQ #565: You prohibit the submission of 'pornographic imagery'; what do you consider this to be? and FAQ #251: You prohibit the submission of 'pornographic literature'; what do you consider this to be? (this is the rules of the site and we don’t make those rules) -Note on content and fanfiction: I do skim over all fanfic submissions for content. -Only submit your own art. Submissions will only be accepted if it is your work. This means: -No freehand or colored versions of popular fanart, meaning any piece of fanart that has been floating through the web whether the artist is known or not. I am pretty knowledgeable of pieces that have been done by other artists, whether on DA or popular pieces of fanart even if the artist is now known. -Art based on images from the manga/anime needs to be credited. Though no cut and paste scenes at all. -I will accept colored versions of someone else's lineart if credit is given in the artist comment. The piece must show significant coloring by you to be accepted. Small detail changes to an existing piece will not be accepted. With this in mind: -Any piece containing yaoi, yuri, slash, shonen-ai, etc. is perfectly welcome. -Pieces marked Mature Content are also accepted. General Rule There will be no flaming, trolling, bashing, spamming, or generic hostility or outright rudeness to members and mods anywhere on this page.
